STRUCTURE AND THE FORM OF RELEASE
1 litre of solution contains
Dextran 30000+40000..... 100 g
Sodium Chloride ................... 9 g
Other ingredients: water for injection.
200, 250, 400, 500 ml of solution in plastic PVC containers.


PHARMACOLOGICAL EFFEC
Rheopolyglucin is considered as a preparation of low-molecular dextran. It reduces the aggregation of regular/formed blood cells, assists in transference of fluids from tissues to blood channel. In this connection the preparation increases suspension characteristics of blood, reduces its glutinous characteristics, assists in rebuilding the haemorrhage of small/shallow capillary, has disintoxicating effect.

INDICATIONS FOR ADMINISTRATION
Rheopolyclucin is prescribed during the disorder of capillary bleeding, for the prophylaxis and treatment of traumatic, operating and burn shocks, arterial disorders and venous blood circulation, for the treatment of thrombosis and trombophlebitis, endarteritis, during heart surgery, carried out by using artificial blood circulation device (as a supplement to the perfusion fluids) in vascular and plastic surgery, for the improvement of local circulation, for disintoxication during burns, peritonitis, pancreatitis and etc.

DOSAGE
During the treatment of capillary bleeding, in result of traumatic, operating burns and burn shocks, designated for drop intravenous application starting from 400 ml to 1000 ml (up to 1500 ml) of Rheopolyglucin every 30-60 min. During surgical operations on heart and vessels by intravenous application before operation, by drops 10 ml/kg, during operation 400-500 ml and in the course of 5-6 days during post operation period 10 ml/kg. Children are administered up to 5-10 ml/kg for different forms of shock.

SIDE-EFFECTS
During the application of Rehopoliglucin complications are not usually observed. However allergic reactions are possible. In cases like that Calcium Chloride, Glucose solutions or antihistamine and cardio-vascular preparations are applied.

CONTRAINDICATION
The preparation is contradicted for thrombocytopenia, nephritis (disease of kidney with anuria), heart disorders, in cases when large amounts of fluid is prohibited.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Contraindications are not revealed about the administration of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation.

SPECIAL INDICATIONS
Dew to the low filtration ability of kidneys or during limited administration of sodium chloride Rehopoliglucin is appointed with glucose.

STORAGE CONDITIONSA AND SHELF LIFE
The preparation should be stored at temperature +10-+25o. Expiry date of the intravenous solution - 3 years
